In case you missed the update yesterday, it was over at CosmicDash.com and featured Alix learning some shocking information about her past. it’s a good page.

Other News

As y’all know, I am a podcaster, so I figured I would drop some details regarding some recent work.

First off, the most recent episode of Supernatural Selection I wrote is about Heinrich Kramer, author of the Malleus Maleficarum. I’m currently writing a follow-up episode that focuses specifically on the ridiculousness of the book, as the first episode was entirely a biography of that guy. There was a lot going on there.

Secondly, I have joined another show! I am now a cast member of the D&D podcast Spooky Dicebag. You can read the announcement and details on my main website.

Lore – Canyon Streets

The Blassnaught Empire‘s most important city tends to be the Imperial City. The current city is a strange blend of ancient and new, with the oldest sections of the city, and some would argue the true city, being built into the walls of the canyons. Over the recent centuries, many locations have been built up and around the city, around the same level of the imperial palace, but they also tend to lack the character of the canyon.

Silver Spiral Stories: Hostile Negotiations – Pg 6 Transcript

The following is a transcript of Silver Spiral Stories: Hostile Negotiations – Pg 6.

Panel One

Drakar Vadis exits the office of Corash, holding the severed head of Corash’s guardian. Drakar is clearly unimpressed. Ms. Mayden looks anxious, aware of movement following Corash’s death.

Drakar: So much for Blassnaught muscle. Watched his boss burn and didn’t have the wits to attack.

Mayden: Sir. We need to get you off-world immediately. I scanned a signal from within the office a moment ago.

Panel Two

Drakar and Mayden have left Corash’s hideout and are back in the canyon streets of the Imperial City on Blassna. Drakar re-adjusts his false eye in the socket as Mayden scans the area.

Mayden: The signature indicates a bounty. Likely triggered by Corash’s death. We’ll need to get you to the nearest elevator out of the canyon.

Drakar: As you say, Mayden. I am in your hands.

Panel Three

Gunfire suddenly erupts and Mayden swings into action, blocking the shots with her body and seemingly taking no damage. Drakar has ducked down behind her.

Mayden: Get behind me, Sir!
